2.Guide
‘Guide’ is a 1965 movie starring the greatest legends of Hindi cinema, Devanand and Waheeda Rehmaan.The movie is directed by Vijay Anand and majorly shot in Udaipur as Devanand impersonates a guide based in the Udaipur city, taking tourists to different locations of Udaipur. Yaadein is a 2001 hindi romantic drama movie starring Hrithik and Kareena Kapoor.The movie is directed by Subhash Gai and shot in India and Malaysia.Some scenes are shot in Udaipur at ‘Jagmandir Island Palace’ including the song “chhan chhan chhalakta noor hai”.

Octopussy (1983) is the thirteenth entry in the Eon Productions James Bond film series, and the sixth to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond.Many of the scenes in the movie were shot in Udaipur.The Monsoon Palace served as the exterior of Kamal Khan’s palace, while scenes set at Octopussy’s palace were filmed at the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir, and Bond’s hotel was the Shiv Niwas.

6.The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a 2011 British comedy-drama film, directed by John Madden.The film stars Dev Patel.The shoot is done in Jaipur and Udaipur.The main shooting location was the village Khempur which is one and half hour from Udaipur.The Best Exotic Hotel site was the Ravla Khempur.it is an equestrian hotel that was originally the palace, Madden said “It had something special that could ultimately draw the characters in”.

7.The Cheetah Girl:One World
The Cheetah Girl is a 2008 Disney movie which first premiered on Disney channel on august 22,2008.It is the third and final film of The Cheetah Girls film trilogy.The movie was shot in Udaipur in various locations like City Palace, Sukhadia Circle, saheliyon ki baadi and various other places.I can remember the day when I was passing by Sukhadia Circle and just stopped gazing at the ambiance of the circle.It was well decorated adorned with colorful decorative props all over the circle and the camera crew setting up the camera.A car stopped near me and from it came out the gorgeous actress in a skirt, colorful top and long boots however I didn’t recognize her and I asked one of the crew members “what’s this shoot for?” and heard the name for the first time “Cheetah Girl”.
8.Dhamaal
Dhamaal is a 2007 Bollywood comedy movie starring Sanjay Dutt,Arshad Warsi,Javed Jaffery and Ashish Choudhary.The movie is directed by Indra Kumar. Some scenes of the movie were shot in Udaipur at Sajjangarh,badi and isolated hilly areas around Udaipur.

9.Ye Jawani Hai Deewani
Ye Jawani Hai Deewani is a 2013 romantic movie starring Ranbeer Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin.The marriage of Kalki in the movie was organized in Udaipur.The marriage scenes were shot in ‘The Oberoi Udaivilas’ Hotel.One of the most popular song “Kabira” was also shot in the same hotel.Gangaur ghat, Fatehsagar, Pichhola Lake, and City Palace are other locations where some scenes were shot.

Ram-Leela, is a 2013 Indian romantic-tragedy film co-written, co-edited, co-produced, composed and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.The film stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.The film was shot in Gujrat and Udaipur.In Udaipur, the movie was shot at old Udaipur, Gangaur ghat, Ambarai Ghat, and city palace.
