Short Film ‘Rang’ By Udaipurites Awarded Best Film At Pinkcity International Short Film Festival

The city youths are proving their mettle in the ‘art and creativity’ field, ‘Rang’ movie is one such example, produced by the passionate youths of Udaipur ‘Rang -The color of humanity’ was selected as the best film on human rights at the ‘Pinkcity International Short Film  Festival’ held in Jaipur from 1st to 15th September.The film also made it to top 20 among  1500 films in Impact film festival, yet another achievement.The movie was produced by RJ27 production based in Udaipur, written and directed by Sorav Zain.The lead roles were played by Bharat Madhwani, Nimisha Bhati, and Ankit Jaamda while the child characters were played by Gaurav Jamra and Ishita Jain, the cinematography was done by Rahul Jain and Praveen Kumar.The film was shot in Methaniya village near Jodhpur and was completed in the budget of Rs 1 Lakh.

“The International pink city short film festival is organized every year and one can apply by uploading the movie on Filmfreeway and paying the registration fee.Short films have a good scope, it is just like a t20 format of cricket, short and more interesting.To encourage short films People can support the budding short filmmakers in monetary terms as well as on social media” Sorav told Udaipurbeats.

Apart from the movie, previously a video ‘Sairat via Rajasthan’ by this production also trended over youtube which garnered about 36 lakhs views.We just hope these budding talents should get enough support from everyone and they keep creating the awesome stuff.
