The ‘Ghoomer’ song from the Padmavati movie is doing the rounds of the internet, so far the song is watched by millions of people and garnered applauds from all over the world. The royal vibrant ambiance, the superb choreography, the melodious music accompanied by the chorus, the excellent cinematography and the fantabulous dance by Deepika and the co-artists makes the song a ‘Masterpiece’ which is a treat to watch.The video is so lively and beautiful that it’s obvious to get completely engrossed in the video making it impossible to point out any flaw in it but the video has two big historical errors pointed out by one of our reader Mr.Love Kumar Sahu who had also posted the same on the Facebook.Here are the errors pointed out by him.
1.Presence of Kumbhalgarh Fort
The highlighted area shows Kumbhalgarh Fort
If you see in the video at 1:19 minutes, you will find the giant Kumbhalgarh fort in the background which is impossible as the ‘Kumbhalgarh fort’ was built in the 15th century whereas Rani Padmini belongs to the 13th-14th-century era.The Kumbhalgarh Fort is the only fort in Rajasthan of its kind and architecture and no similar fort exists so it rules out the fact of the presence of some other similar looking fort.

2.Presence of Kirti Stambh and Kumbhalgarh Fort together is a contradiction
The highlighted area shows ‘Kirti Stambh’
Since Rani Padmini belonged to Chittor, at the background ‘Kirti Stambh’ is shown which is a tower located in Chittor fort but it contradicts the presence of Kumbhalgarh which is in the Rajasamand district of Rajasthan near Udaipur and the distance between Chittor and Kumbhalgarh is around 160 Kms via road which is huge which makes the presence of Kumbhalgarh in the background practically impossible.
These errors make sense because in historic movies these things are specially taken care of, and how did they miss it, is strange.
