Udaipur, the royal city of lakes has been earning the accolades consequently year by year in the survey by the American magazine Travel+Leisure, last year it was at the 14th spot out of 15 top cities voted by T+L readers, this time the city of lakes made a leap of 11 ranks and has been ranked World’s 3rd top city in the yearly survey done by Travel+Leisure, the top two spots were taken by Mexican cities San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca. The travellers worldwide rate the cities on different parameters like sights and landmarks, culture, cuisine, friendliness, shopping, and overall value. Udaipur is the only Indian city to make it to the Travel+Leisure top cities list.
This is a boost to the city’s popularity worldwide and is most likely to leverage the tourism.
